Which voice is
running your decisions?

A free assessment that names the patterns you fall into under pressure. It takes about five minutes, and it’s the most useful starting point I know of.

Start here

The Judge, and the ones that back it up.

Picture your mind as an amplifier. The Judge — the voice of self-criticism, doubt and fear — has the volume turned up to ten. It’s so loud it drowns out everything else.

The Judge doesn’t work alone. It has accomplices: hyper-achievement, control, avoidance, people-pleasing, and a few others. They take turns, they feel like common sense at the time, and between them they leave no room for the quieter part of you that sees clearly and responds on purpose.

Most people can’t name their own patterns from memory. That’s not a failing: the whole point of a saboteur is that it feels like you rather than like a habit. Which is why it helps enormously to have them named for you.

Take the Saboteur Assessment

The assessment is run by Positive Intelligence, whose research underpins a good deal of the mental fitness work I do. You’ll get your top saboteurs and a short explanation of how each one shows up.

Opens on positiveintelligence.com. It’s their assessment, not mine, and there’s nothing in it for me if you take it.

Then what

Knowing the name isn’t the work.

Here’s the honest bit. A lot of people take an assessment like this, recognise themselves, feel briefly seen, and change nothing. I’ve done it myself with other tools.

Awareness is roughly ten percent of it. The rest is practice: catching the pattern while it’s happening rather than three days later, and having somewhere to take it. That’s what the eight weeks are for.

So take the assessment. Then, if what comes back looks familiar in a way you’d rather not keep repeating, come and tell me about it.
